Ramblin’ Rose events are sanctioned through USA Triathlon. You will be required to purchase a $15 one-day USAT license when you register if you are not a USAT annual member.

MEMBERS ONLY allowed inside UNC Wellness Center! Please refrain from entering the UNC Wellness Center as it will be open to members only. Participants will be asked to enter the pool area via a dedicated door located under the front overhang. We will have plenty of portojons available in the parking lot.
PARKING – Plan to Carpool!
[Download Parking Map] There will not be parking available at the UNC Wellness Center on race day. Limited parking will be available on a first-come first-served basis in designated lots within the Meadowmont Village near the race site. Do not park in restricted lots as towing will be enforced. Participants & spectators are encouraged to park at the Rizzo Center and at the Rashkis Elementary School. Please see map for details.

SWIM START ORDER:
When you arrive at packet pick-up on race weekend, you will be asked to rate your swimming ability on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the strongest, using the [SWIM ABILITY CHART] as a guide. This swim ability will determine the starting order of the swim for race day participants.

Set Up Events will be hosting a transition clinic during Packet Pick Up for participants of the Chapel Hill Ramblin’ Rose Triathlon. The clinic will include tips and information to help you become more comfortable with the layout and logistics of triathlon and how transition works. Time-saving strategies, gear (including apparel), and transition space layout will be addressed. A question and answer session will follow. No equipment is necessary.
Top 3: overall, masters, relays, age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over. Sorry, we do not ship unclaimed awards.

Relieve your anxiety about the unknowns associated with training for and participating in your first Ramblin’ Rose. Get the answers to your questions by referencing our [FAQ Sheet]. Also, eliminate the worries related to possibly forgetting something on race day by downloading the [Official Ramblin’ Rose Gear Checklist].
Races are held, rain or shine, unless Set Up Events determines that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day by Set Up Events and local law enforcement officials. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers. This position is consistent with USA Triathlon recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Set Up Events reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.
TRANSFER & REFUND POLICIES:
Race entries are non-transferable between events, years, and individuals. No exceptions will be made!
If you are unable to participate for any reason, you will be able to request a refund until exactly one month to the day prior to race day. Refund requests received after this deadline will not be processed for any reason. There is a $31 refund processing fee (roughly equivalent to 50% of the early registration fee) and all additional portions of your entry fee will be refunded back to your method of payment.
All refunds must be made through the registration provider (RunSignUp).
