Note: Relays can consist of 2 or 3 individuals.

Registration fee includes entry to race and $100 Gift Card to Inside Out Sports. Gift Cards will be distributed at Packet Pick Up, September 16th.

*Note: $100 Registration does not include one-day USAT fee. Promo Codes do not apply to this entry.

Registration Deadlines:
Online registration closes at 8:00 AM on the Thursday before race day (Sept 14).
*On-site registration MAY be available during normal packet pick-up hours. Please review this event site for more details regarding on-site registration.

USAT Requirement:
Ramblin’ Rose events are sanctioned through USA Triathlon. You will be required to purchase a $15 one-day USAT license when you register if you are not a USAT annual member.

Parking:

[DOWNLOAD PARKING MAP] Race Site Parking:
You will NOT be able to leave until the event concludes. In the interest of the safety of the runners still on the course, there will be no exceptions made! Please travel via Statesville Rd to Verhoeff Dr to access the race site parking lot (orange route).
Off-Site Parking:
Spectators and athletes interested in leaving prior to the end of the event need to park in the Central Piedmont Community College parking lot. Overflow parking is available at the Lake Norman Charter High School, located approximately 1 mile from the race site. Please travel via Old Statesville Rd (accessible from I-77 via Gilead Rd and Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd) to access the off-site parking (green route).

Pre-Race Wrenching: 
Provided by the expert bike mechanics of Bike Source starting at 6:30 AM near the Transition Area.

Swim Warm-up, Transition Close/Re-Open 
The Pool will be open for warm-ups from 7:15am – 7:45am. The Transition area will close at 7:45am and re-open at 10:00am

SWIM START ORDER:

When you arrive at packet pick-up on race weekend, you will be asked to rate your swimming ability on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the strongest, using the [SWIM ABILITY CHART] as a guide. This swim ability will determine the starting order of the swim for race day participants.

PRE-RACE CLINIC: (please pick up packet prior to clinic)

Saturday, September 16th Starting at 4PM 

There will be a transition clinic during Packet Pick Up at Inside Out Sports for participants of the Huntersville Ramblin’ Rose Triathlon. The clinic will include tips and information to help you become more comfortable with the layout and logistics of triathlon and how transition works. Time-saving strategies, gear (including apparel), and transition space layout will be addressed. A question and answer session will follow. No equipment is necessary. The clinic will take place outside the front entrance to Inside Out Sports on Church St., Charlotte.

AWARD CATEGORIES:

Top 3: overall, masters, relays, age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65-69. Top 1 age groups: 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over. Sorry, we do not ship awards.

WEATHER POLICY:

Races are held, rain or shine, unless Edurance Magazine determines that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day by Endurance Magazine and local law enforcement officials. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers. This position is consistent with USA Triathlon recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Endurance Magazine reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.

TRANSFER & REFUND POLICIES:

Race entries are non-transferable between events, years, and individuals. No exceptions will be made!

If you are unable to participate for any reason, you will be able to request a 50% refund until exactly one month to the day prior to race day. Refund requests received after this deadline will not be processed for any reason.

Upon completing and sending the [REFUND REQUEST FORM] you will receive an auto-reply as a confirmation that your request was successfully submitted. A refund check will be mailed during the week of the race for which you are requesting a refund. Please do not contact us regarding your refund request status, unless you have not received your refund check by the week AFTER the race.
