REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Capacity Based Fees (800 total slots available)
Phase 1 pricing for first 200 registrants /// $70 for Individuals & $125 for Relays
Phase 2 pricing for next 280 registrants /// $75 for Individuals & $130 for Relays
Phase 3 pricing for next 320 registrants /// $85 for Individuals & $140 for Relays

Note: Relays can consist of 2 or 3 individuals.

Registration Deadlines:
Online registration closes at 8:00 AM on the Thursday before race day. On-site registration will be available during packet pick-up hours.

USAT Requirement:
Ramblin’ Rose events are sanctioned through USA Triathlon. You will be required to purchase a $12 one-day USAT license when you register if you are not a USAT annual member.

Please [download a parking map]. Please note, if you choose to park in the AE Finley YMCA lots, you will not be able to leave until the event concludes.

Pre-Race Wrenching: 
Provided by the expert bike mechanics of Performance Bicycle starting at 6:30 AM near the BIKE OUT end of the Transition Area.

Bag Check: 
Available at the POD container near the finish line. Participants need to provide their own bags. Please do not give us your valuables. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

SWIM START ORDER:

When you arrive at packet pick-up on race weekend, you will be asked to rate your swimming ability on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the strongest, using the [SWIM ABILITY CHART] as a guide. This swim ability will determine the starting order of the swim for race day participants.

Get ready for this year’s Ramblin’ Rose!  We’ll cover tips as you finish up your training, as well as pre-race and post-race nutrition! We’ll also go over common race day worries. Bring a friend and lots of questions! This clinic is FREE.

///Transition Clinic: Endurance Magazine will be hosting a transition clinic May 15th, 5:30pm at the Finley YMCA for participants of the Raleigh Ramblin’ Rose Triathlon. The clinic will include tips and information to help you become more comfortable with the layout and logistics of triathlon and how transition works. Time-saving strategies, gear (including apparel), and transition space layout will be addressed. A question and answer session will follow. No equipment is necessary. Meet at the Thunder Dome Pavilion by the back entrance to the AE Finley YMCA (Bailieywick entrance)

///Race Site Clinic – Saturday, May 18th 3-4 PM @ AE Finley YMCA
The AE Finley YMCA Multisport Team will be hosting a free pre-race clinic at the race site on the day before the race – Saturday, May 18th from 3-4 PM. This clinic is FREE and is highly recommended for anyone new to triathlon and/or first-time Ramblin’ Rose participants.

WEATHER POLICY:

Races are held, rain or shine, unless Endurance Magazine determines that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day Endurance Magazine and local law enforcement officials. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers. This position is consistent with USA Triathlon recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Endurance Magazine reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.

TRANSFER & REFUND POLICIES:


Race entries are non-transferable between events, years, and individuals. No exceptions will be made!

If you are unable to participate for any reason, you will be able to request a 50% refund until exactly one month to the day prior to race day. Refund requests received after this deadline will not be processed for any reason.

Upon completing and sending the [REFUND REQUEST FORM] you will receive an auto-reply as a confirmation that your request was successfully submitted. A refund check will be mailed during the week of the race for which you are requesting a refund. Please do not contact us regarding your refund request status, unless you have not received your refund check by the week AFTER the race.

TERMS FOR SHARING A STORY:

By choosing to share your story with Endurance Magazine, LLC, you acknowledge and agree that any information you provide, including any photo, may be viewed by the general public.
